RocketStream Client is an application that connects to RocketStream Station or RocketStream Server in order to push or pull files. With its intuitive and simple user interface, RocketStream Client requires almost no training to use, but it contains all of the control features necessary to exchange files manually or automatically … all at rocket speed.
RocketStream Client allows the user to establish multiple connections to RocketStream Servers and RocketStream Stations, provided that the user has access privileges on those target computers. RocketStream Client can then push files to or pull files from the target computers.
RocketStream Client uses the RocketStream Protocol to send and receive files. It offers the option to select the UDP setting for high-bandwidth pipes (typically above 5 Mb/s) or to select the PDP setting when less bandwidth is available or firewalls do not allow proprietary protocols to pass.
RocketStream Client can tune the amount of bandwidth it wishes to use, or it can run at maximum speed. Depending on the amount of bandwidth available, maximum speed can be up to 30x faster than traditional FTP-over-TCP.
RocketStream Client works with all versions of RocketStream Station and RocketStream Server. While RocketStream Client supports full on-the-fly data encryption, it also features an option for on-the-fly compression and decompression of files in transit, further enhancing RocketStream’s tremendous speed. RocketStream Client can also administer a RocketStream Server.
RocketStream Client also has the ability to automate the file transfer process. File transfer jobs can be scheduled, or RocketStream Client can automatically synchronize to or from a server. RocketStream Client also supports hot folders and mirroring with the server.
RocketStream Client does not have any pre-set limitation on data rate transfers.
